It is my pleasure to share some beauty from Whitney + Kelly's classic summer wedding as featured on Style me Pretty. Much of the design was inspired by the venue, The Homestead, a resort nestled in the Virginia mountains. Whitney and her family vacationed there as a child and it held great memories for her and her family. She worked closely with Lemon and Lime Event Design and truly came up with some amazing details!
Inspiration was taken from the bees found in the lobby chair upholstery as well as soft striped fabric and wallpaper found throughout the resort. The bee theme is carried through to the invitations, the glassware, the custom wedding crest, the boutonniere pins (collected over the years by Whitney's mother) and the large bee topiaries we created to accent the reception space.
