We are so happy to share Ellie and Josiah’s romantic wedding at the Mill at Fine Creek, photographed by Chelsea Diane and exquisitely planned by For Love of Love.
For Ellie and Josiah, we wanted to design florals that would complement the natural beauty of the Mill and surrounding forest paying special attention to the environment where our arrangements will be seen. Whether it's a wedding in a forest or ballroom, we want to design arrangements that fit in with their setting. The ceremony took place outside under the Mill’s newly installed pergola. We decorated the site with lots of natural looking greenery, to make it look as if it had been standing there for years.
Ellie’s bouquet was organic and loose, with white peony, buttery dill flower, blush lisianthus, and scabiosa, all hand tied with streaming silk ribbon. Her bridesmaids held simple greenery bouquets with delicate floral highlights.
Josiah and his groomsmen wore simple greenery boutonnières, with a bit of soft textural highlights.
We brought some of the lush outside into the reception hall, and designed a creeping greenery installation that grew up and around the pillars connecting the two dining rooms. Bud vases lined the head-table, and centerpieces filled with coral colored zinnias, garden roses, and gestural cosmos adorned every guest table.
Congratulations Ellie and Josiah!
